Arabidopsis (2009)
Arabidopsis is a generative sound-sculpture that will be installed in Lisser Hall at Mills
College from December 4th-8th, 2009. Many large springs are interconnected in feedback loops,
creating constantly evolving sounds. As each day of the installation progresses, the batteries fueling
each spring will deplete, changing the ways in which the springs relate to one another, and their
collective resonance.
